Two Drug Peddlers Held: Seized 2.6 Kgs Of Ganja

Hyderabad, Dec 31 (Maxim News): On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South-East Zone team, Hyderabad along with the staff of OU City PS apprehended two ganja peddlers namely 1) Kanukurthi Sai Naveen @ Naveen @ Kulfi aged 27 years,   2) Chatla Vamshi  aged 19 years, both resident of Bodrai Bazar, suryapet Town  who are in possession of contraband i.e. Ganja and seized Ganja weighing about 2.6 KG. and one vivo Mobile Phone 

According to D.Sreebala, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Task Force, said that the OU city Police apprehended one person by name Kanukurthi Sai Naveen @ Naveen @ Kulfi who is in possession of Contraband i.e. Ganja at Habsiguda under the limits of OU City Police Station. On enquiry with him, he revealed that, few days back he purchased 2 kgs of Ganja from one of his friend by name Chatla Vamshi R/o Bodrai Bazar, Suryapet Dist, for a Rs. 3000/- per Kg and selling the same to needy customers for a Rs. 1000/- per 100 Grams at Habsiguda surrounding areas and gaining huge profits. On his information, apprehended Chatla Vamshi @ Vamshi and found loose Ganja on his possession. On enquiry with him he revealed that, in the earlier month of December-2023, he purchased 3 Kg’s Loose Ganja from one unknown villager at Odisha State for a Rs. 2500/- per Kg and supplied 2 Kgs ganja to Kanukurthi Sai Naveen @ Naveen @ Kulfi and remaining 1 Kg kept with him and selling to needy customers for a Rs. 1000/- per 100 grams and gaining huge profits illegally. 

Kanukurthi Sai Naveen @ Naveen @ Kulfi is involved in (06) NDPS cases (02) other cases of Suryapet Town, Mothey PS’s  Prohibition and Excise PS of Khammam. Previously Chatla Vamshi @ Vamshi is involved in (01) NDPS case of Mohtey and (03) property offences of Suryapet Town PS.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Ms. Sreebala ,  A.V.R. Narasimha Rao, Addl. DCP, Task Force by S. Saidababu, Inspector of Police, South-East Zone Task Force team, SI’s M. Anantha Chary, C. Rakesh along with the staff of South-East Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force and the staff of OU City PS, Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
