Two Held For Organizing Cricket Betting In Dhoolpet

Hyderabad, June 17 (Maxim News): On Sunday, sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force personnel of West Zone apprehended two cricket betting organizers, Vijendar Singh and Mahesh Singh while they were accepting cricket betting at Jungur Basthi in Dhoolpet directly over cell phones.

The police also seized one LG TV, one Setup box, one remote, one Vivo cell phone which has Cricket Mazza App, one paper used to write cricket betting amounts and net cash of Rs 53,970 from the duo.

On Sunday, the accused were running Cricket betting at No.14-10-1000, Jungur Basthi, Dhoolpet and accepting Cricket betting over cell phones by watching in T.V. ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup-2019 Cricket match between India Vs Pakistan teams playing at Old Trafford, Manchester, England. The accused and the seized property were handed over to the SHO, Mangalhat PS.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of P. Radha Kishan Rao, DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, by B. Gattu Mallu, Inspector of West Zone. (Maxim News)
