Two Infants Died In Malakpet Area Hospital Due To Infection

Hyderabad, Jan 17 (Maxim News): The committee formed on the death of infants in Malakpet Area Hospital has submitted a preliminary report to the State government. It has been confirmed that the two infants have died due to Staphylococcus bacteria infection.

While 18 women were delivered in the same Malakpet Area Hospital, all of them got infected and were shifted to the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). Two infants are undergoing dialysis due to kidney infections. The rest recovered and were discharged from the hospital. However, the causes of the infections have not been announced so far. Doctors found that the victims were infected with Staphylococcus bacteria. (Maxim News)
