Hyderabad, June 28: Two residents of Karimnagar died after a car lost control and crashed into a roadside drainage near Uppal in Kamalapur mandal of Hanamkonda district in the early hours of Sunday.
According to police, the car was travelling from Hyderabad towards Karimnagar when the accident occurred.
Car Accident Leaves Two Dead and Two Injured
Four persons were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
One occupant died on the spot, while the remaining three sustained serious injuries.
Emergency responders shifted the injured to MGM Hospital in Warangal in a 108 ambulance for treatment.
Police said one more person later died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The deceased were identified as Kallem Srinivas and Turpati Bhargav, both residents of Lakshmipur in Karimnagar district.
Kamalapur police registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.
