Two More Arrested In TSPSC Paper Leak Case

Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News): Two more people have been arrested in the TSPSC Paper Leakage Case which created a sensation across the state.

Bhagwant Kumar and his younger brother Ravi Kumar were taken into custody by SIT officials. Bhagwant Kumar bought AE paper from Dakya Naik for his younger brother Ravi Kumar. It was revealed in the investigation that Dakya Naik had bargained for Rs. 2 lakh to give the AE paper. When SIT officials examined the transactions of Dakya Naik Bank, they found that a deposit of Rs. 1.75 lakhs was made from Bhagwant. He admitted that he had bought the paper for his younger brother Ravi Kumar. Both Bhagwant Kumar and Ravi Kumar were arrested by the SIT officials, with their arrest, the number of accused in the TSPSC paper leakage case has reached 22.

On the other hand, in the case of TSPSC paper leakage, the investigation of the SIT officials has come to light. The SIT investigation revealed that the accused received Rs. 33.4 lakhs in his case. Officials found that some took cash while others deposited it in bank accounts. The SIT found that Praveen Kumar, the main accused in this case, received Rs. 16 lakhs. Renuka Rathore received AE question paper for ten lakhs by Praveen Kumar. The investigation revealed that Renuka’s husband Dakya Naik and Rajeshwar sold the AE question paper to five others. The SIT officials concluded that Rajeshwar and Dakya Naik got Rs. 27.4 lakh by selling this paper. Out of this, Rs. 10 lakhs were given to Praveen Kumar. Rajeshwar and Dakya Naik got Rs. 17.4 lakhs.

On the other hand, Praveen sold the Divisional Accounts Officer question paper to a couple from Khammam for Rs. 6 lakh. While Praveen hid the money of six lakhs received as DAO paper sale in the bank, the money was frozen by the SIT officials. Rajeshwar did government contract work with the money he got from selling question papers. (Maxim News)
