Tense Atmosphere At Gandhi Bhavan Over Bajrang Dal Activists Called Reciting Hanuman Chalisa: Heavy Police Deployed

Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News); Tense atmosphere prevailed at Gandhi Bhavan, as the Bajrang Dal activists were upset over the Congress announcement that it will ban Bajrang Dal in the Karnataka election manifesto. They called to recite Hanuman Chalisa in front of Gandhi Bhavan. The heavy police force was deployed in advance. The gates of both sides of Gandhi Bhavan were closed with barricades.

TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and State in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray were present in Gandhi Bhavan after a series of meetings, the police were alerted after receiving information that Bajrang Dal activists were coming to protest. Heavy security was arranged in front of Gandhi Bhavan.

The leaders of the Congress party got into an argument with the police as no one was allowed inside the Gandhi Bhavan. the police let them in. Bajrang Dal members are expressing their anger over Congress announcement that Bajrang Dal will be banned from the Karnataka election manifesto. A large number of agitations and protest programs were carried out across the country. As part of this, Bajrang Dal and BJP have called for protests across the state. (Maxim News)
