Typo at National Workshop’s Inaugural Session Sparks Lighthearted Reactions
Hyderabad, Sept 23: The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at MANUU hosted a three-day National Workshop on Capacity Building for Urdu Working Journalists on the university campus.
The event brought together media professionals and academics aiming to enhance skills and knowledge in Urdu journalism.
However, the inaugural session drew some unexpected attention, not for the content, but for a spelling mistake on the banner.
The large stage banner behind the dignitaries mistakenly spelled “inaugural” as “inagural,” a typo that was quickly noticed by attendees.

The workshop served as a valuable platform for journalists to engage with experts and learn about the evolving media landscape, technology integration, and ethical reporting in Urdu language journalism.
Despite the minor spelling hiccup, the event was hailed as a success and a testament to MANUU’s commitment to promoting and strengthening Urdu media.
Organizers assured that future events would pay extra attention to such details, ensuring that both the content and presentation uphold the university’s standards.
