Ugadi Celebrations At President Murmu Residence In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, March 22 (Maxim News):  Ugadi celebrations were held at Rashtrapati Bhavan (President Murmu Residence) at Bollaram, Hyderabad, Governor Dr. Tamil Sai Soundara Rajan, Union Minister G. Kishen Reddy, Home Minister Mohd. Mahmood Ali, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari has participated in this program.  

Along with them, President Draupadi Murmu also participated in these celebrations virtually and inaugurated the Knowledge Gallery and Kitchen Tunnel in the Rashtrapati Nilayam.  Along with these, visitor facilities centers, foundation stones, and step wells were inaugurated.  It has also initiated a program to allow the President’s House to be visited by the public from tomorrow. 

President Draupadi Murmu expressed happiness that she got the opportunity to stay at the President’s residence in Hyderabad last month.  She said that the complete information related to the history of Rashtrapati Nilayam is available in the Knowledge Gallery.  She said that the renovated kitchen tunnel was built with Telangana traditional art.  Murmu said that Presidents have started various gardens in the past, and she said that she is happy to start Butterfly, rock, Nakshatra Gardens, and Step Wells under her tenure. 

Governor Tamili Sai Soundara Rajan, wishing the Ugadi greeting to the people of the country, said that she wants everyone to be healthy and happy..  The Governor thanked President Draupadi Murmu for increasing the time to 11 months, while previously only 15 days were allowed for a public visit to the President’s residence.  She expressed confidence that the president’s residence will certainly stand as one of the tourist attractions in Hyderabad.   Governor said that people can book tickets online to visit the President’s residence.

Union Minister G.Kishan Reddy wished the people of the country the new Year of Ugadi.  he expressed his happiness in giving the people an opportunity to visit the president’s residence for 11 months.  It is also a great thing to start on Ugadi day.  Kishan Reddy said Rashtrapti Nilayam is a heritage building.  He said that it is good to have the Prime Minister’s information in our Hyderabad Rashtrapati Nilayam like Delhi.  he said that there are many tourist centers in Hyderabad and the President’s residence is one of them.  Kishan Reddy said that these kinds of visits are very useful in creating awareness about the activities of the President and the activities of the state.  Those who visit Hyderabad are requested to definitely visit the President’s residence.  (Maxim News)
