Ugadi Festival: Governor Greets People

Hyderabad, April 12 (Maxim News): Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has greeted people on the occasion of Sri Plava Nama Samvastsara “Ugadi” on Tuesday.

In a message , the Governor said, “On this happy and auspicious occasion of Sri Plava Nama Samvatsara “Ugadi”, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Telangana and to all the Telugu people living in different parts of the world.

“Ugadi” is a Festival of joy and hope. The New Year shall bring with it new health, happiness, prosperity, bright future and safe environs.

I am confident that ‘Sri Plava Nama Samvatsaram’ will usher in a healthy and pandemic free life to all people across the Globe.

I am sure that, it will reinforce the courage in the people in fighting second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and emerge victorious. We shall pledge in this New Year that we, our family members, our relatives, and our friends shall stay healthy by strictly complying with the COVID-19 preventive norms, the governor said.
