University College Of Engineering Celebrates Graduation Day 2025

Hyderabad, Aug 31, (Maxim News) The University College of Engineering (UCE), Osmania University, celebrated a landmark Graduation Day today, honouring the academic achievements of the Class of 2025, presenting 25 Gold medals, 15 cash awards, 25 Rank certificates to 510 students.

The college has awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award-2025 to Sri. Srinivasa Rao Kakumanu, CEO & MD, MosChip Technologies Ltd. The profound felicitations to its distinguished alumnus and Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kumar Molugaram overwhelmed the stage. The event, which served as both a convocation for the graduating class and a tribute to the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, was a source of immense pride for the entire UCE community.

Speakers highlighted Prof. Molugaram’s inspiring journey and scholarly contributions, which have culminated in his elevation to the highest academic position at Osmania University. The College has presented a Citation of Honour. In his address as Chief Guest, Prof. Kumar Molugaram urged graduates to uphold the values of innovation and integrity. He spoke of the rich legacy of the university and his vision for its future. He motivated students to solve the unsolved problems in societal needs. He also added hard work along with smart work and networking will lead to reaching your goals. He advised the Art of Living to lead a good life.

He announced that Sri Gopala TK Krishna has been appointed as Adjunct Professor of the College. He informed that the newly inaugurated Bhima Hostel will be available to students shortly. He also announced plans to replace the Ganga Hostel with a new one.

The ceremony was graced by a distinguished panel of guests and faculty who were instrumental in the day’s proceedings. These included: Gopal T.K. Krishna, Founder and President, Krishna Engineering Consultants, USA (Guest of Honour) He congratulated all the outgoing students, the rank holders and the gold medallists. He addressed the gathering that he is very happy to be invited for the Graduation Day 2025 by University College of Engineering, OU. He was heartening to see the efforts being put in by Vice Chancellor Prof. Kumar Mulagaram, the college principal Prof. P. Chandra Sekhar and his team for the development of the college. He was very humbled to be bestowed upon the Distinguished Alumnus Award and he thanked the principal, faculty and the selection committee for their kind recognition. From MosChip, the company he is leading and have been supporting the infrastructure development initiatives through our CSR initiative. He announced the cash award of 15000/- each to the toppers of the all eight departments. He wished the college and the current batches of engineering all the best.

Initially, Prof. P. Chandra Sekhar, Principal, UCE(A), OU welcomed the dignitaries and briefed the developments of the College. Prof. L. Siva Rama Krishna, Director of Evaluation, Exam Cell, UCE(A), OU has outlined about the Graduation Day 2025.
