Hyderabad, Oct.23 (Maxim News): Ms. Charu Jain, an alumnus at the School of Life Sciences (SLS), University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been appointed Research Assistant at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) and will be working in an area related to Ubiquitin signalling in DNA damage response and genome integrity maintenance.
Charu Jain is currently pursuing Ph.D. at the Centre for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Earlier, she worked with Prof. Naresh Babu V Sepuri (SLS, UoH) for her MSc thesis. Ms. Charu is a gold medallist in MSc and secured Prof. A.N. Radhakrishnan Memorial Medal for Topper in MSc Biochemistry, Jatindra Mohan and Basantilata Medal for Topper in MSc Biochemistry, Dr. B. Venkata Rama Sastry Memorial Medal for overall performance in PG in Life Sciences (Topper, School of Life Sciences) and
Pingali Mohan Reddy Medal for overall performance in PG in Life Sciences.
She also secured all India ranks of 58 and 65 in CSIR-JRF (Dec 2018) and GATE 2019, respectively. She is also qualified in Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) under DBT-Junior Research Fellowship 2019.(Maxim News)
