UP Congress questions promises made by BJP

Uttar Pradesh Congress today took the opportunity to hit over Bharatiya Janata Party government’s failure in the state to ban slaughtering in the State and to waive off loans of the farmers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President, Amit Shah, in all their election rallies made tall claims of banning the slaughtering and waiving off loan of the farmers on the same night of formation of their government in the State”, pointed Congress MLC, Deepak Singh told mediapersons here, while questioning that why the chief minister Yogi Adityanath was now silence over it.

“More than 48-hours have passed of Yogi taking charge of the new Government but he did not made a single announcement of the promises which his Party leaders made during campaign to misguide the voters,” added Mr Singh, while asking Yogi not to follow the path shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“People had seen how the PM and Mr Shah had cheated the voters during campaign for last Parliamentary elections when they not just promises of Achche Din, but also to bring back the black money kept overseas and later crediting Rs 15 lakh in the accounts of the public,” Mr Singh further said, while saying that now so far the promises made during campaign here in UP also seems to just like dream of `Achche Din’. He claimed that now it look that Yogi will also follow the footstep of Modi and run a government of just `Jumlebaz’.
