Hyderabad, Oct 7 (Maxim News): Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Rangareddy, who boarded an RTC bus to find out how beneficial free bus travel is for women, has now led to a heated debate over his behavior with a student. While the young woman was saying that the scheme was saving her up to Rs.45,000 per year, the MLA was seen holding and touching her hand several times in the video. On Tuesday, MLA Malreddy Rangareddy traveled in an RTC bus to see for himself how much the Mahalaxmi free bus travel scheme is benefiting women. He spoke to the passengers and got their opinions. In this process, he greeted a student standing on the bus and asked her about the benefits she was getting through the scheme.

The student responded to this and said that the free travel facility provided by the government has completely saved her the cost of going to college. She happily explained that the travel expenses are saving up to Rs. 45 thousand per year. However, the MLA’s behavior at the same time has caused controversy. While the conversation with the student was going on, the MLA was recorded in the video holding and touching her hand several times. While the video showed her uncomfortable with the MLA’s touch, it was seen in the scenes that she tried several times to withdraw her hand and move aside. (Maxim News)
