Urdu will be second language in districts too: KCR
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the State government would recognize Urdu as second language in all districts too.
The Chief Minister assured the MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi on Friday at Legislative Assembly that the government would recognize the Urdu language as second language and said that there was a need to protect the Urdu language in the state.
The Chief Minister also said that the state government was trying to own the Wakf lands across the Telangana state and a Committee was appointed under the chairmanship of Bajireddy Goverdhan. The Committee will identify the Wakf lands whereabouts across the state. He asked the MIM MLAs to furnish the information to the Committee by attending the Committee meetings.
