Hyderabad, March.2 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy today exuded confidence that his party would win in the MLC elections. Noting that the Congress has enough numbers to win one MLC seat under the MLA quota, Uttam alleged that the ruling TRS opened doors for inducing rival party leaders in the elections through corrupt means.
Speaking at a meeting here, Uttam said both party candidates Gudur Narayana Reddy and T. Jeevan Reddy would win from their respective seats in the upcoming MLC elections. Commenting on the Lok Sabha elections, he said the elections would be between Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He exuded confidence that Rahul Gandhi would become Prime Minister in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. He also said there was no use even if the TRS won one MP seat in the State. He called upon party workers to strive for the victory of the Congress. (Maxim News)
