India Signs Pax Silica Agreement At AI Impact Summit

Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News):  India today signed an agreement with US-based Pax Silica. The two countries signed the Pax Silica Declaration. The two countries signed this strategic agreement at the AI Impact Summit being held at Bharat Mandap in Delhi. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav signed the declaration in the presence of US Representative Sergio Gore. US Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg was also present. Minister Vaishnav said that Prime Minister Modi has taken steps to instill confidence in India across the world, that countries around the world trust our IT capabilities and talent, and that our foreign policy is also gaining confidence from everyone.

The minister said that the supply, production and chip design of semiconductors will all be part of Pax Silica. The minister said that Indian engineers are designing advanced nanometer chips. He said that the semiconductor industry worldwide will need about one million skilled professionals. But he said that India will provide the necessary workforce to that level.

The US launched the Pax Silica Group in December last year. It includes some key technology partners. The Pax Silica team includes countries such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, the UK, Israel, the UAE and Australia. Pax Silica was launched with the aim of creating a secure, innovative silicon and artificial intelligence system worldwide. (Maxim News)
