VC Sajjanar Thanks PM Modi Asking People To Be Vigilant Against Cyber Criminals

Hyderabad, Oct 27 (Maxim News): Senior IPS office and TGS RTC MD, VC Sajjanar asking people to be vigilant against cyber criminals who are extorting money by scaring innocent people in the name of Digital Arrest. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Modi warned people in the 115th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat” today.

Sandeep Patil, a man from Vijaypur, Karnataka, said that he first posted a video of himself talking to a fake policeman on his X account on September 19, and was identified based on his tweet as part of creating awareness about cyber crimes. In the Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that he appreciated Santosh Patil’s courage. Sajjanar said that he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself for bringing this issue to light to create awareness about the control of fraud in the name of digital arrest. Based on Sajjanar’s tweet, Santhosh Patil was identified by the Home Ministry and PMO.

Sajjanar mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed digital arrest scams in today’s Mann Ki Baat program and shared a video of a man talking to fake police. Mentioned how the man managed to avoid falling into the net of cybercriminals. Sajjanar suggested that if anyone is a victim of such cyber scams, or if scammers try to contact them, they should immediately dial 1930. He called us to come together to create a secure digital India.  (Maxim News)
