VH Hails CM’s Idea Of Erecting Phule Statue In City

Hyderabad, Feb.19 (Maxim News): Former MP V Hanumantha Rao welcomed idea of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to install statue of Mahatma Jyothiravo Phule during State cabinet meeting. VH said the CM got a good idea and urged him to install the statue in Amberpet constituency.

The former MP said the constituency has three separate pieces of land to install the statue. He alleged that several valuable lands were being encroached upon by the land grabbers. He demanded that the State government also build an auditorium in the name of Mahatma Jyothirao Phule. He said he had taken up the issue with the Chief Minister on several occasions. He urged the CM to protect Bathukamma Kunta in the city. (Maxim News)
