VH To Go On Fast-Unto-Death After Local Body Polls
Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday said he would go on fast-unto-death after conclusion of the second phase of the ongoing local body elections demanding that the State government reinstall statue of Dr BR Ambedkar at Punjagutta crossroads.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, Rao alleged that the State government had filed cases against GHMC sanitation workers for desecration of BR Ambedkar statue. He also wondered that none of the cabinet ministers and MLAs of the ruling party was talking about the Ambedkar Statue incident.
Commenting on the Kerala tour of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, VH mocked that KCR had time to meet his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan, but did not have time to meet the family members of distressed Intermediate students, who committed suicide. (Maxim News)
