Video: 16 Students Fall Sick Due to Food Poisoning at Gurukul School
Gudur/Hyderabad, Feb 7 (Maxim News): 16 students from Damaravancha Gurukul School in Gudur mandal, Mahabubabad district were hospitalized after suffering from food poisoning on Thursday night.
The students started vomiting and having diarrhea soon after eating rice with sambar at dinner. Their friends and hostel staff quickly took them to Gudur Government Hospital, where they are now receiving treatment.
Hearing about the incident, local MLA Dr. Murali Nayak visited the students at the hospital. He spoke to them to understand what happened and instructed officials to ensure better food quality to prevent such incidents in the future.
Despite government efforts to improve food safety in Gurukul schools, such cases continue to occur. (Maxim News)
