Virat Kohli felicitated with special cap ahead of his 100th test
Ahead of Day 1 of the first Test between India and Sri Lanka, India head coach Rahul Dravid congratulated star batter Virat Kohli and presented him with a special gift for his 100th Test.
“I’d want to thank the BCCI, and receiving my 100th Test cap from one of my childhood heroes is truly incredible,” Kohli said as Dravid handed him a unique cap.
‘This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me.’ My wife has arrived, as has my brother. Everyone is ecstatic. It is, without a doubt, a team sport, and it would not have been possible without your help. He also expressed gratitude to BCCI, noting that it has always been supportive of him.
In 2011, Kohli debuted in a Test match against the West Indies.
