Waqf Board Row: Raja Singh Appeals to Centre For SIT Probe Against Owaisi
Hyderabad, April 7 (Maxim News): During the Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra, BJP leader Raja Singh made sensational remarks targeting AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
Addressing the gathering near Siddiamber bazar masjid, BJP MLA T Raja Singh urged the Union Home Minister to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe Asaduddin Owaisi’s alleged involvement in matters related to the Waqf Board.
Raja Singh also demanded that the Maharashtra government take immediate action to remove the tomb and other remnants of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, stating that such symbols are an insult to Indian culture and history.
His statements have stirred controversy and are likely to intensify political tensions in the region. (Maxim News)
