War of Words Between TRS Ministers And Etela Rajender

Etela Rajender, a former state health minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader, resigned from the party on Friday, ending his 19-year association with the TRS. Rajender was removed from the state government on May 1 over charges of land grabbing.

After resigning, Etela Rajender has slammed CM KCR, alleging that “It’s not Pragati Bhavan where the CM is living; it’s a slave house.” Many ministers in KCR’s cabinet are treated as though they are slaves. I don’t want to be a minister who is reckless and has no self-respect. I am not a save. Is there a single officer from the SC, ST, or BC in the CMO?”, he has questioned.

In response to Etela Rajender’s remarks, minister Gangula Kamalakar has questioned how he can enjoy the seven years post benefit if his self-respect was hurt. Minister Koppula Eashwar has faulted Etela and his family members for taking the benefit of the Rythu Bandhu scheme. TRS leader and MLC Palla Rajeswar Reddy remarked, “Why don’t you quit since your self-esteem has been shattered?”
