Police Commissioner Sanpreet Singh introduced the special action plan after recent house burglaries and chain snatching cases under commissionerate limits.

Investigators found that many suspects involved in recent crimes belonged to other states, especially from North India. Officials said the accused were using railway routes to enter Warangal, commit thefts and escape quickly.

Special Teams Monitor Railway Stations

Police formed four special teams under Additional DCP Crimes Balaswamy and ACP CCS Sadaiah. Two teams each were deployed at Warangal railway station and Kazipet Junction.

The teams are working with Government Railway Police and Railway Protection Force personnel. Officers are checking passengers arriving from different states and identifying suspicious movements.

Police are also using facial recognition systems and fingerprint verification tools to match suspects with the national criminal database. In addition, officers are inspecting luggage and recording personal details during surveillance checks.

If the system detects any criminal background, police immediately receive alerts and take the suspect into custody for questioning.
