WATCH | Protest At Charminar Over Attacks on Iran

Hyderabad, Mar 6 (Maxim News) : The Telangana JAC protest drew large attention at Charminar on Friday after activists gathered to condemn attacks on Iran.

Members of the Telangana Joint Action Committee organised the demonstration after Friday prayers in the Old City.

Several protesters assembled near Charminar and raised slogans against the reported attacks on Iran.

They also condemned reports about the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Telangana JAC protest continued for some time as participants demanded global attention to the issue.

Protesters criticised military actions carried out against Iran. They alleged that the attacks caused civilian casualties. Many participants carried placards and banners during the gathering. They called for an immediate end to the violence.

Speakers at the protest urged international leaders to intervene quickly. They said continued attacks would only worsen the humanitarian situation.

Protest leaders also demanded protection for civilians living in conflict zones.

Protesters Demand End To Violence In Iran

During the Telangana JAC protest, several speakers strongly criticised the reported killing of school children during the conflict. They described such incidents as unacceptable and inhumane. According to them, attacks on civilians must stop immediately.

Many protesters said innocent people suffer the most during wars. Therefore, they urged world powers to prioritise peace efforts. Organisers said the demonstration aimed to express solidarity with affected civilians in Iran.

Meanwhile, a separate protest also took place at Langar Houz on Friday. A group of residents gathered there and raised similar concerns about the attacks on Iran. Participants demanded peace and called for an end to military actions.

Police personnel monitored both protests to maintain order in the city. However, the demonstrations remained largely peaceful. Authorities ensured that traffic movement near Charminar continued with minimal disruption.

The Telangana JAC protest reflects growing concern among sections of the public about global conflicts. Organisers said they will continue peaceful demonstrations if the violence does not stop.
