WATCH: Tension In Kamareddy, The Congress Workers Blocked KTR’s Convoy

Kamareddy/Hyderabad, Aug 14 (Maxim News): There is a lot of tension in Kamareddy district center.  Congress leaders tried to block Minister K.Tarak Rama Rao‘s convoy near Devunapalli, a suburb of Kamareddy.  

The agitators expressed anger that the promises given to Kamareddy were not fulfilled.  Suddenly the police stopped the Minister’s convoy as it crossed the road.  The protesters were forcibly arrested and taken away in police vehicles.  Protesters raised slogans against the government, and with the protests of Congress leaders and workers, there was a tense atmosphere in KTR’s tour.

On the other hand, Minister KTR and local MLA Gampa Govardhan laid foundation stones and inaugurated various development programs in Kamareddy Municipality.  Road widening, central lighting, and road widening works have been started at a cost of Rs. 28 crore (Maxim News)
