We Will Make One Crore Women Millionaires: CM Revanth

Mahabubnagar/Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced an ambitious goal to make one crore women millionaires across the state. He shared this vision during his tour of the Joint Mahabubnagar district.

As part of his visit, Revanth Reddy inaugurated a petrol pump in Narayanpet run by a Women’s Association. Speaking directly to the women there, he said the government is focused on helping women become financially strong.

There are already 67 lakh women involved in Indira Mahila Shakti,” he said. “We plan to strengthen these women’s groups and help one crore women achieve financial success.”

The Chief Minister also outlined several steps the government is taking to support women:

  • Providing 1,000 megawatts of solar power to women’s associations.
  • Offering marketing support to help sell products made by these groups.
  • Setting up a large business center near Shilparamam to help women grow their businesses.

Revanth Reddy also criticized the previous BRS government for not doing enough to support women’s associations. He announced that the government would spend ₹1,000 crores to provide sarees to women in these groups.

We will give two quality sarees every year so that women can live with self-respect,” he said. “The previous government gave ordinary sarees, but we will ensure better quality for our women.” (Maxim News)
