WhatsApp Web services face technical outage

Hyderabad, Feb. 27 (Maxim News) : Technical glitches disrupted WhatsApp Web services on Friday morning, causing widespread login issues for users across the country.

Individuals attempting to access the platform via desktops and laptops faced significant difficulties syncing their chats.

While the web interface remained unstable, services on mobile applications continued to function without interruption.

According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, the issue peaked around 9:00 AM. Reports indicated that 16 users filed complaints by 8:54 AM, with the figure rising to 28 within half an hour.

The sustained volume of reports confirmed that the technical fault persisted for a significant duration throughout the morning.

Users report login errors on social media Frustrated users flocked to the social media platform X to voice their concerns regarding the service disruption.

Many reported being unable to log into their linked devices for over an hour, leading to a flood of complaints online.

Despite the widespread reports, Meta has not yet issued an official statement regarding the cause of the failure.

No updates have appeared on the company’s official social media channels, leaving users to speculate on the nature of the technical fault. (Maxim News)
