Why Two Prices For The Same Vaccine : KTR

He accused the centre of failing to check such two different prices for same vaccine when one nation one tax regime is on. We have agreed for this in the country and now see two different prices for same vaccine, he objected.

Hyderabad, April 22 (Maxim News): Telangana Industrues and MAUD Minister, K T Rama Rao today criticised the two prices for a single vaccine in India.

He accused the centre of failing to check such two different prices for same vaccine when one nation one tax regime is on. We have agreed for this in the country and now see two different prices for same vaccine, he objected.

Taking to Twitter, KTR said that one pharma company has announced said to sell it for ars 150 to the centre and Rs 400 for the states. He found fault with such disparity for same vaccine. How ant company sells it at varying prices he asked. The Minister cited that they agreed for one nation and one tax. However the vaccine prices should not be as different as Rs 150 per jab to the centre and Rs 400 for the states.

He expressed discontent on one nation one tax regime of GST now sees two taxes for same vaccine. Can’t the centre bear additional expenditure for jabs for people from PM CARES Fund and help rapid vaccination drive across the country he asked. The minister said that the centre has to set the things right, he suggested. (Maxim News)
