Will distribute sweets before Congress decides on sharing of seats: KTR

Hyderabad, Oct.23 (Maxim News): Caretaker Minister K T Rama Rao today launched a broadside against the Congress-led Mahakutami and Telugu Desam party supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for roping in his henchmen into the election fray. “By the time the Mahakutami decides on seat-sharing among its partners, the TRS will distribute sweets by winning the elections”, he ridiculed.

Addressing a public meeting at Ibrahimpatnam on the city outskirts here today, KTR accused Chandrababu Naidu of conspiring against the TRS by befriending his arch rival Congress. “Now the Congress party is in the clutches of Chandrababu Naidu and its leaders are dancing to the tunes of the TDP Chief”, he alleged. KTR took serious exception to Chandrababu Naidu speaking against Palamur district and irrigation projects and the Congress criticism against the Pharma City.

The Congress was unable to finalize even the seat-sharing among its allies as Delhi diktats are yet to come to the State Congress leaders. Stating that the TDP has no cadre and the Congress has no leaders, KTR alleged that the Congress failed to keep its promises in 60 years but the TRS government achieved monumental development in Telangana in just four-and-a-half years.

The IT & MAUD minister warned that the farmers will suffer power problem and the wheels of development will come to a grinding halt if the Mahakutami partners come to power in the State. He also pointed out that the Congress party has many chief ministerial candidates and every leader will vie for “kursi” every month. The people should decide whether they want a sealed cover chief minister from Delhi or a lion like KCR for more welfare and development in the State, he said. The Pharma city will be built on world class standards and provide employment to jobless youth and construct a 330-km long regional ring road.

KTR also told the people that pensions and crop investment will be hiked to Rs 2016 and Rs 10,000 respectively if the TRS voted to power. (Maxim News)
