Will teach lesson to Govt if it harassed party workers: Revanth Reddy warns
Hyderabad, July 28 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and Congress party MP A. Revanth Reddy today condemned the arrest of the party workers from Munugodu Assembly constituency and warned that they would teach a befitting lesson to the State government if the illegal arrest of their workers continued in the state.
Speaking to media persons, he alleged that the state was reeling under dictatorial rule and added that democracy was being brutally murdered in the state. He said that the prevention of the party MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from attending the official program of distributing newly sanctioned white ration cards as depriving him of his rights as the public representatives. He alleged that thousands of police personnel had not only put check posts but also bound over the party leaders.
He alleged that State Minister Jagadish Reddy distributed the ration cards in the presence of the ruling TRS party leaders and police . He alleged that the minister was taking away of the rights of the MLA in a deliberate manner. (Maxim News)
