Wine Shops To Be Closed On Ram Navami In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): Police have given a big shock to alcohol lovers. The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has issued orders to close wine shops on the occasion of Sri Ramanavami on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The orders state that wine shops should be closed from 10 am on April 6 Sri Ramanavami festival, for the next 24 hours as part of maintaining law and order.

This includes liquor shops, wine shops, bars attached to restaurants, military canteens, star hotels, and registered clubs. Rachakonda police have asked everyone to take note of this. They have warned that strict action will be taken if anyone violates the rules. With this, wine shops will be open from tomorrow morning. On the other hand, the police have revealed that there are traffic diversions in many places in the city during the Shobha Yatra.  (Maxim News)
