Wine & Today Shops To Remain Closed Tomorrow

Hyderabad, March 7 (Maxim News): City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar ordered closure of wine and toddy shops and bars attached to Restaurants within twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad from 6 pm on March 9 to 6 am on March 11 on account of Holi Festival and in the interest of public peace and tranquility.

No throwing of colours & moving on bikes in groups

The Police Commissioner also prohibited throwing of colours or coloured water on persons, places, vehicles and smearing of colour to people on public roads, places causing unpleasant incidents. He also prohibited movement of two-wheelers and other vehicles in groups on the streets and public places disturbing peace and order and causing inconvenience to passersby. He also warned that any person or persons violating the prohibitory order will be prosecuted as per law. (Maxim News)
