Within 100 Days: AP DY CM Pawan Kalyan Achieved World Record For Holding Largest Number Of Gram Sabhas

Tirumala/Hyderabad, Sept 16 (Maxim News): Within 100 days of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan taking charge as Panchayat Raj Minister, the department got a rare honor. The Panchayati Raj Rural Development Department has set a world record for holding the largest number of Gram Sabhas in a single day. It is known that the AP government organized Gram Sabhas in 13,326 Gram Panchayats across the state on August 23.

The World Records Union recognized the organization of large-scale gram sabhasChristopher Taylor Croft, Official Records Manager, World Records Union handed over the record document and medal to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan today morning.

The representative of the World Records Union informed that it is recognized as the largest village governance to hold meetings with public participation at this level on a single day. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan expressed happiness that the Panchayati Raj Rural Development Department has achieved a world record.  (Maxim News)
