The event is expected to foster dialogue on how women’s participation in agricultural marketing can be enhanced through access to technology and institutional finance. Discussions are likely to highlight existing gaps and propose collaborative frameworks for academic institutions and policymakers to address the challenges women face in agricultural supply chains.

By bringing together economists, social scientists, and development practitioners, the panel aims to deepen understanding of gender-equitable practices in India’s rural markets. The MANUU event reflects a growing trend in academia to link gender studies with financial and technological empowerment for rural development.
