Won’t reduce cinema ticket prices, people can watch films with Corona protocols: Talasani

Hyderabad, Dec.3 (Maxim News): Cinema Ticket | Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said that the people can watch films in theaters by following corona protocols as the government took all measures to check coronavirus. The government will not take a decision to reduce prices of tickets in the theaters, he said.

A team of the film industry met with the Minister and discussed the issues related to ticket prices, theaters occupancy, and others. The films can be screened by following corona protocols and people can watch without fear he said.

Cinema ticket:

Since thousands of families are relying on the film industry the government is supporting the films shooting and screening he said. He urged the people to avoid rumours if any that the theaters will be closed for checking corona spread and possible third wave.

Due to corona pandemic the film industry faced all difficulties and there are no restrictions on the films screening. There is no closure of the theaters and restrictions on occupancy as the government took all measures to check the same. Despite offering 100 percent occupancy and no restrictions the people did not come in large numbers to theaters these days, he said.

Film industry:

The government has offered the film industry to screen the films with 100 percent occupancy in theaters, he said. There are no restrictions as of now on films screening in the theaters.

The Minister made it clear that there is no truth that theatres will impose restrictions on people from watching the films. The government will extend all help and support to the film industry workers, the Minister said. (Maxim News)
