Your Invitation Received Late, Unable To Attend “All Party MPs Meet”: Kishan Reddy To Bhatti
Hyderabad, Mar 8 (Maxim News): In view of the Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka holding an “All Party MPs Meeting” scheduled to be held today. Bhatti Vikramarka himself called up MPs of all parties, as well as Union Minister Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, to invite them to the meeting.
However, the BJP State President and Union Minister Kishan Reddy has written to the Chairman of the meeting, Mallu Bhatti Vikarama, stating that the BJP has decided not to attend the MPs meeting. Kishan Reddy said that the letter sent by Bhatti was received late. He said that he would not be able to attend the all-party MPs meeting due to already decided programs.
Kishan Reddy said in the letter that the invitation sent by Bhatti was received late, and there was no time to discuss the meeting in the party. He said that he was unable to attend the MP meeting due to official and unofficial programs that had already been decided. He said that if he wanted to hold such meetings in the future, he would like to be informed in advance. However, Kishan Reddy made it clear in the letter that the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP are committed to the development of Telangana and that they will continue to work for the development of Telangana with sincerity and dedication. Meanwhile, it is known that BRS has already decided not to attend the all-party MP meeting.
It may be recalled that the Telangana government has decided to hold a meeting with MPs of all parties to raise issues pending at the center in Parliament. The government’s idea is for MPs of all parties to speak on behalf of the state in both houses of Parliament. In particular, the Telangana government is asking for funds for the Bayyaram Steel Plant, Tribal University mentioned in the Bifurcation Act, national status for the Palamuru Ranga Reddy project, and Rs. 1,800 crore for the development of backward areas. it is seeking Rs. 24,269 crore for the second phase of the Metro rail, Rs. 14,100 crore for the Musi Riverfront Project, Rs. 45 thousand crore for ten green field radial roads to be built between the Outer Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road, and Rs. 7,440 crore for the Godavari-Musi Linkage Project. The state is seeking funds for the Integrated Sewage Master Plan in Hyderabad and the development of an underground sewage system in Warangal. An action plan will be prepared to discuss these issues in the MP meeting and bring them to the attention of the center. (Maxim News)
