Shabbir Ali emphasised the need for students to upgrade their skills to match industry demands. “A degree alone is no longer enough. Youth must acquire technical skills relevant to today’s job market,” he said. He highlighted the Congress government’s initiatives under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to empower youth through targeted training programmes.

He added that previous administrations had failed to provide adequate support to ITI and polytechnic students. In contrast, the current government has introduced advanced courses such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to prepare students for emerging opportunities. “Our goal is to ensure Telangana’s youth are equipped to thrive in both national and international job markets,” Shabbir Ali said.

Sudarshan Reddy urged students to take full advantage of these opportunities. He noted that even students in government schools and colleges, particularly from underprivileged backgrounds, would receive high-end technical training. AI courses aimed at ITI and polytechnic students are expected to create thousands of employment opportunities across private and public sectors.

The programme, attended by District Collector Ila Tripathi, senior officials, and heads of educational institutions, reinforced the government’s broader vision of transforming Telangana’s youth into globally competitive professionals. Officials said that these initiatives would ensure immediate placement for students completing training, boosting both skill and employability in the state.
