YSRCP Chief Calls On Guv, Meets KCR Too
Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister-elect of Andhra Pradesh State today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan as per schedule at 4.30 pm here. Earlier, Jagan got down at Begumpet Airport after taking a special flight in Gannavaram Airport.
Jaganmohan Reddy met with the Governor and staked claim to form government. Earlier, he was elected unanimously as leader of YCPLP in a meeting in Tadepally camp office. Then he sent senior leaders of the party Botsa Satyanarayana and others to submit the list of MLAs of the YCP to the Governor. Botsa urged Narasimhan to invite the YCP to form the government. As per the schedule, the chief minister-elect will hold meeting with the Governor from 4.30 pm to 5 pm and discuss on the new government, oath taking in Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada on May 30.
The Governor will administer the oath to Jagan Mohan Reddy as new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on that day. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to attend Jagan Mohan Reddy’s swearing-in ceremony. Earlier, he said he will return to Hyderabad on becoming Chief Minister and winning the polls. (Maxim News)
