Mahmood Ali distributes Tablet PCs to the VROs in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): Telangana’s Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohammed Mahmood Ali today distributed Tablet PCs to the Village Revenue Officers (VROs) of Hyderabad district to curb land encroachment.

As part of Golden Telangana, the government has decided to provide the Tablet PCs to the VROs in the entire state for rendering effective services by the field level staff.

Mahmood Ali, who also holds the Revenue portfolio, told the media the government’s move will check the illegal encroachment of land by the mafia.

“Earlier, the VROs used to work with pen and paper, which had many loopholes. Now, the VROs will be able to shoot the video of any encroachment and send it to the collector for further action,” said Ali. (Maxim News)
