We’ll Sweep 2018 Polls In State: Uttam

Nalgonda, July 15 (Maxim News): Exuding confidence that his party would win Nalgonda Parliament seat with huge majority, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy reiterated that they will chase away the ruling party from the Telangana State. He said all the party leaders remained united and the cadre was fully charged to win the elections.

Uttam Kumar Reddy participated in the Congress party Parliamentary level review meeting at Nalgonda on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar said they will strengthen the party from booth level. He opined that the 2019 general elections will be held much before the scheduled time. “We had won the seat in 2014. But it was lost due to defection. We will win it again in 2019 and will get the highest majority in the country,” he said amid laud cheers by party workers.

The TPCC president further charged that “Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and the TRS government have cheated the people on several counts. People are desperately waiting for elections to teach KCR a fitting lesson. We should be active at all levels to ensure that we register a landslide victory,” he added.

The meeting was presided over by AICC Secretary Saleem Ahmed. CLP leader K. Jana Reddy, Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Kodad MLA Padmavathi Reddy, Nalgonda DCC president B. Bhikshamaiah Goud, former MLA Damodar Reddy and others also spoke. (Maxim News)
