₹70,000-cr corruption took place in Kaleswaram lift irrigation project: YS Sharmila

Hyderabad, July 3 (Maxim News): Founder-president of YSRTP YS Sharmila today alleged that corruption of ₹70,000 crore took place in the construction of the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project. She also alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had turned the State, which had a surplus budget, into a State with ₹4 lakh crore debt.

The YSRTP president mocked that the State did not witness development in any sector except in the liquor sales. She also said her party was born in order to do justice to those, who has no access to it. Interacting with the residents of Pareddigudem village of Garidepally mandal of Huzurnagar Assembly constituency, Sharmila said her ongoing Praja Prasthana Padayatra entered 113th day in the constituency.

She alleged that CM KCR did nothing for the development of Telangana State except taking rest at his farm house after consuming liquor. She also said KCR did nothing for development of the State in his last eight year stint as the Chief Minister. She also said the State has no development in any manner and added that the authorities failed to implement any welfare scheme in a proper manner. (Maxim News)
