16,43,300 cash seized today as part of election code of conduct: Ronald Rose

Hyderabad, March 19: As part of the election code of conduct, the Enforce teams today on Tuesday collected Rs. 16,43,300 in cash and Rs.10,250 worth of electronic goods were seized and seized, District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said. He said that immediately after the release of the election notification, the police, SST and FST teams are conducting extensive inspections at the field level. He said that 9 teams are working for 24 hours in each assembly constituency.

On this occasion, the teams of FST (Flying Squad) in Hyderabad district collected Rs. 9,3000 lakhs was seized, while Rs. 7,13,300 rupees were seized by the police team, said the District Election Officer. Besides, other items worth Rs.10,250 were seized. So far, a total of Rs 17,25,311 worth of other items have been seized. 54.67 liters of illegal liquor was seized and prohibition cases were registered against 8 persons and they were arrested.

Today, 5 complaints about cash and other items were received and resolved. District Election Officer Ronald Rose explained that 2 FIRs have been registered till today.
