Journalists from the field of print and electronic media, including Santu Das (UNI), Archana Kashyap (Univarta), Maqsood Alam (UNI Urdu) and Rajesh Rai (PTI) were today conferred with 42nd Matri Shree award at a function held in the city.
Former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain, who was the chief guest at the award ceremony, gave away the awards. BJP’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra was also present on the occasion.
The recipient of the Awards include: Santu Das (UNI), Archana Kashyap (Univarta), Maqsood Alam (UNI Urdu), Rajesh Rai (PTI) and Manish Srivastava (PTI-Bhasha).
