493 APGVB Branches In Telangana Will Merge Into TGB From JAN 1
Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): Telangana Grameena Bank Chairman Y. Shobha announced that the 493 branches of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) in Telangana will be merged with Telangana Grameena Bank from January 1.

Speaking to the media persons on Thursday, she said that the Central government is moving forward with the slogan of one state, one rural bank. She said that the employees of APGVB) branches in Telangana will also work in their respective branches. She said that with the merger of APGVB and TGB, 928 branches will do business worth Rs. 70 thousand crores. She said that due to the merger, the activities of bank branches, online services, UPI, ATM, mobile banking, internet banking, and other services will be disrupted from December 28 to 31. She said that on Dec 30 and 31 of this month, customers will be allowed to withdraw cash upto Rs. 5000 from branches in case of emergency. However, Telangana Grameena Bank Chairman Shobha stated that bank services will remain as usual from January 1. (Maxim News)
