5.21 Lakh Students of SSC Passed Without Exams: Sabitha

Hyderabad, May 21 (Maxim News): In the results announced for 10th class 5.21 Lakh were passed by the government. Education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the government announced these results without any examinations amid Corona crisis.

She told reporters here that as per chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao decision we have declared the results. The government already cancelled the exams as the state faces Corona cases she reasoned.

Sabitha Indra Reddy informed that a total 2,10,647 students scored 10 GPA marks based on FA-1 marks. She said that 535 schools scored 10 GPA grades which were decided relying on formative assessment (FA). The Chief Minister gave nod for grading as per procedures for the results of SSC.

Sabitha said that Corona crisis compelled the state to cancel the examinations and pass all the students on internal assessment methods. The government decided to pass all candidates who paid fees she said.

The officials concerned prepared the results based on FA-1 method to declare the 10th class grades of the students. Sabitha appealed to the students and parents to see the results of SSC on websites –bse.telangana.gov.in onwards respectively.

The students can collect marks sheets from the schools and rectify any problems she said. It may be said here that recently the government cancelled these examinations due to Corona effect and to check rising cases in the second wave of pandemic in Telangana state. (Maxim News)
