Prior to lockdown, the meals were offered for Rs.5 a plate. But after the lockdown was implemented, as per Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s directions to ensure that no one should be left hungry in the State during lockdown, GHMC is offering the meals for free.
Earlier only lunch was offered and during lockdown dinner, is also being offered to help the needy, especially migrant and daily wage workers. GHMC in association with Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation is now gearing up to serve even more meals as per the demand.
