Hyderabad, Oct 17 (Maxim News): The Cabinet has decided to increase the 25 percent quota of seats allotted to Telangana locals in NALSAR Law University admissions to 50 percent.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that a resolution to this effect was passed in the Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Thursday (October 16), it was also announced that the proposal to allocate an additional 7 acres of land to the university at the current location has been approved.
He said that the Cabinet has approved the construction of 5,566 km of roads in the state in the first phase in ham mode. Under this, development and expansion work will be undertaken on national highways, district centers, mandal centers, tourist areas and roads connecting with other states.
He stated that the Cabinet has decided to hold celebrations from December 1 to 9 to mark the completion of two years of the formation of thePeople’s Government in the state, and a Cabinet sub-committee will be formed to organise the celebrations. (Maxim News)
