Kavitha To Go For One Day Hunger Strike In Delhi On March 10

Hyderabad, Mar 2 (Maxim News): BRS MLC K. Kavitha announced that she will go on a one-day hunger strike in Delhi demanding the Union government to table the Women Reservation Bill in this session on March 10.

Speaking to press persons here today, Kavitha claimed that Telangana jagruti has been changed into Bharat jagruti to work across the country. She said that the first program of Bharat Jagruti will be a one-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar.

She criticized the BJP, which promised to give reservations to women in the last two elections, but did not keep that promise. She said that the Women’s Reservation Bill should be tabled in Parliament in this session itself. She said that even though the census was not done after BJP came to power, she also demanded to take up the BC census so that their rights be given to them according to the proportion of the population.
