Even Women Representatives Has No Protection In Telangana: DK Aruna

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (Maxim News): BJP National Vice President D. K. Aruna said that even the women representatives have no protection in the Telangana state under Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government.

Speaking at the conclusion of the BJP Bharosa Diksha organized at the State BJP office today, Aruna mentioned the allegation made by Jankipuram Sarpanch Navya of Dharmasagar Mandal against state Ghanpur MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah. She said that the lack of protection of a Sarpanch can explain how the situation of women in the state has changed. She expressed her concern that women representatives are not getting respect in the state, she said that if they ask for funds for development, they will talk as if they like.

D.K. Aruna mentioned that the MLA had harassed the case of the Municipal Chairperson of Jagtyala the other day. She said that KCR should remember that a woman is not only his daughter but everyone in this state. She said that KCR is not responding to any atrocities on students and women. She criticized that BRS leaders or their children are behind the incidents wherever attacks take place in this state. (Maxim News)
